You take care

And make sure to stay away

I don’t wish to cause you any pain at all

I just can’t stand to hear you everyday

I broke down

I have so few nice things to say

Cancel all of your well-wishing

It’s a wishy-washy whitewash anyway

You speak

But it gets lost in all the noise

Useless as fighting the ocean

Like a parrot to a pirate

You are standing on my shoulders

Mimicking what I have wrought

You seem to have no unique thought

Your pouting, whining, whispering

Over the commonest of chords

Has somehow got them listening

Yet violates and leaves me bored

As if I’d celebrate with you

And I should wish you more success

But you’ve supplanted skill and will

With fuck-me eyes and fancy dress

Such torture as they hailed you

Applauding you as you approached

I heard someone call you “genius”

And that’s what pissed me off the most
