Red Delta Orchestra
began when Brandon Boucher and Wulf Downard, former members of a long dead band, each started self-producing demos for new music after years of hiatus. After a series of catchup conversations, Brandon sent Wulf one of his many instrumental pieces. Wulf wrote and recorded vocals and additional instrumentation, and the demo of their first RDO song, "Belt," was born. The guys took some time to cross some other projects and life changes off their lists, and then decided it was time to write their hard hitting debut album, Daedalus. Combining brooding and angsty riffs with thoughtful and introspective lyrics, down and dirty synth work, lush orchestrations, and massive drum beats, they worked themes of human experience and global anxiety into their opus.
Red Delta Orchestra have now released their massive second album, Paper Eagles, an odyssey of social criticism and American dissent.
